Lush green pastures with shelters. Some multi sectioned, some large enough for 10-15 friends to hang out.
***** Horses are checked on in the late evenings and periodically during the day. We have trainers available, you can try ours or bring your own.
Must come to see!! ***** Please visit one of our favorite organizations,
We are located 20 minutes northeast of West Bend, and 20 minutes south of Plymouth.
Our facility is located on 40+ acres. We have 8 large grass pastures with shelters in all. We offer many amenities, including, hay (given 2-4 times daily), superior grain, water always available (heated in winter). We also have large indoor and outdoor arenas, and a 60 ft. round pen. We have a pond (pictured above) for horse and people swimming and fishing. Our facility has 24 stalls, meticulously cleaned daily (if its not clean enough for us to sleep in, its not clean enough!) and 2 injury/foaling stalls with monitor. We also have a hot water wash rack available. Our pastures are dragged/picked up daily. We have 3 small individual paddocks for after surgery/injury care, with shelter or stall attached. We are 10 minutes from the northern Kettle Moraine trails and we offer trailering to and from. We also have on-site trails with wonderful views of the river. We have a very peaceful, quiet, family feeling here at Aledos. Everyone is family. Your horse comes to be like one of our own. Since this is our full time job, the horses are monitored regularly. Horses who are retired or have special needs flourish here. We take great care in how our horses are grouped together. There are several trainers who come here, you can try one of them or bring your own, your own farrier is welcome too. We enjoy learning about each horse and their likes and dislikes. Ex. We all know horses don't like wind and rain on their faces, one of "our" horses will go as far as walking to the barn backwards to avoid rain and wind on their face. Funny;)) Horses who have stalls are lead in and out, not free to run into barns. We treat each horse as an individual. We understand that not every horse can be maintained the same. We have different feed for young, middle, older, etc. Our main objective in running our boarding/retirement/special care facility is to make sure each horse is taken care for their maximum health, comfort and happiness.
